Motoring Offences

We represent clients from the very outset of a criminal investigation, at the police station stage right to the very end, namely the trial stage. It is usually at the police station when a case is at its most vulnerable stage; where mistakes or errors of judgment could be made which in turn could result in unfavourable outcomes for those under investigation.

Our Motoring Offences team is regularly instructed in the following matters:

  • Summary motoring offenses Start from £700 + VAT = £840 to £1000 + VAT = £1200

HOURLY RATE OPTION (Disbursements not included)

  • Directors and Senior Solicitors: £270 + VAT = £324
  • Solicitors (Over 3 years) £200 + VAT = £240
  • Solicitors (0-3 years) £180 + VAT = £216
  • Caseworkers/Trainee solicitors £120 + VAT = £144

LIKELY DISBURSEMENTS

  • Experts: from £100 + VAT = £120 to £800 + VAT = £960
  • Counsel: from £350 + VAT = £420 to £1200 + VAT = £1440

LIKELY TIMESCALE

  • Magistrates court Guilty plea: 1 to 2 months.
  • Magistrates court Not Guilty plea: 4 to 8 months.
  • Crown Court Guilty plea: 1 to 3 months.
  • Crown Court Not Guilty plea: 10 to 18 months.
